Who am I

I am a Polish native and Zurich-based yoga teacher, meditation facilitator as well as lifelong movement enthusiast with a deep passion for dance and multi-sport activities.

My journey hasn’t always been on the mat. Before I stepped into the path of being a Yoga and Dance & Movement Teacher, I spent over twelve years working in the Swiss food industry, most recently as a Quality Manager (and I countinue doing so). My background is rooted in Food Engineering and Human Nutrition with deep focus on Quality. So I know firsthand what it means to juggle tight schedules, deadlines and daily demands while trying to maintain a sense of balance and longing for more peace, connection and clarity.

My own turning point was in 2019 when I was seeking for something deeper, something that would bring more steadiness into my life. That’s when I found meditation and shortly after, yoga. At first, it was simply about focus and slowing down, not becoming someone else. Over time, it taught me how to meet my energy with presence and intention, how to find more peace within and how to become more patient in my daily life. These practices helped me combine my active lifestyle with a calmer, more grounded presence.

Because yes, I have always been on the move! Since childhood, I’ve loved sports, physical challenges and outdoor adventures. And I’ve been dancing to the coolest beats since I can only remember. Today, I channel that energy into being a recreational hybrid athlete (my sport in Hyrox). And I truly believe we can be both strong and soft, fast and mindful, vibrant and steady – especially as a women. Hence, whether I am training for a race, flowing through yoga or sitting in stillness, I carry a deep respect for the intelligence of the body and the wisdom that comes from listening to it. And this is exactly what inspires the heart of my teaching: helping others to reconnect with their body, their breath and their inner rhythm – especially in times when life demands high performance and everything around feels chaotic.

The reason why I founded yin.flow is to create a space where people can experience that same integration: combining the vitality of movement with the calm of mindfulness. My approach is deeply rooted in balance of the yin and the yang, the active and the passive, as well as movement and stillness. You will even see this philosophy reflected in my logo. Through yin.flow, I guide high performers, busy professionals and athletes back to themselves. I help them find balance between effort and ease, action and reflection, ambition and rest. My mission is to show others how to integrate mindful practices into their daily lives, that feel grounding, nourishing and sustainable, no matter how fast-paced their life is. Because I believe that peace isn’t something we find only in quiet places – it’s something we can carry with us wherever we go.

Outside of teaching, I am an optimist who loves movement, nature, fresh air and exploring the healing power of natural therapies. I teach in English, German and Polish and I aim to hold a space that feels safe, welcoming and real. In my classes, I combine yoga, meditation and simple mindful routines to release physical and mental tension, reconnect with the breath and body, build resilience and cultivate peace and clarity from within.

I am happy to meet you on the mat, in movement or somewhere in between and I am looking forward to sharing the benefits of mindful living with you through my blog and other creative offerings. I am here to remind you that it’s possible to live your full potential: a vibrant life while carrying the sense of inner peace within. And before you go to explore the details of my offer, here is one of my favorite inspirational quotes that I would like to share with you, as it’s something I return often to:

Warm hug and see you soon,
Aldona

My Core Values

In order to create real, lasting change I focus on authenticity, empathy and practical support.
Through a grounded, holistic approach to yoga, I offer tools that strengthen both body and mind
helping you recover better, focus deeper and move through life with clarity and intention.

Authenticity

Teaching from the heart

As a yoga teacher, authenticity is at the core of everything I do. It means showing up as my true self and embracing my own journey. I teach from experience, not perfection, creating a safe space where you can reconnect with your body, breath and all that what truly matters. I aim to guide each class with sincerity, sharing practices that resonate deeply and offering a supportive environment, where you feel empowered to connect with your own truth. Together we embrace the beauty of being genuine in life.

Compassion

Nurturing growth through presence and kindness

Compassion is at the very heart of my teaching. It means to me: understanding where you are and actively supporting you with patience, warmth and respect. In each class, I aim to create a space where you’re met without judgment and where you’re encouraged to be real. My intention is to guide, uplift and empower you by honoring your individual’s needs, challenges and experiences. Together we create a sense of belonging and allow ourselves to soften, to heal and to grow stronger.

Guiding with care and expertise

Professionalism means to me showing up prepared, knowledgeable and fully present for every class. I approach each session with care, tailoring practices to meet the needs of my students while ensuring a safe and supportive environment. With a commitment to continuous learning and a deep respect for the practice, I strive to offer guidance that inspires trust and confidence. Together we create a space where professionalism meets passion and we feel more balanced and more connected.
